    WOW!!!! What is this painted on? I love it! Great expression and gorgeous colour scheme. I would love to know the inspiration behind this one!

      It's biro and acrylic on a smooth board, like bristol board. I was inspired by the temporary nature of the life of a butterfly, how short and colourful it is, and how in the great expanse of eternity our lives are fleetingly similar, but with a hope of eternal life, that's the angel standing guard, images taken from statues. you can see some of my other work over on my paintings page.

    This is kind of dark but also lovely. I love the sneak peek of butterfuly detail as it flits across the vision.
