It's biro and acrylic on a smooth board, like bristol board. I was inspired by the temporary nature of the life of a butterfly, how short and colourful it is, and how in the great expanse of eternity our lives are fleetingly similar, but with a hope of eternal life, that's the angel standing guard, images taken from statues. you can see some of my other work over on my paintings page.
